There are currently five hundred thousand unfilled cybersecurity jobs in the United states.  Cyberseek.org estimates that Florida alone has over 24,000 vacancies, including over 6,000 in South Florida. This workforce and skills shortage facing public and private sector organizations is exacerbating the number of data breaches and cyber-attacks and contributing to an already growing national security concern.  The current academic and employment models are insufficient to meet the needs of the rapidly changing skillset requirements and increasing demand of qualified cybersecurity and data science professionals.  Argos-AI believes it can address these challenges by creating skill development; data-driven research; and delivering integrated cybersecurity services to its student, practitioner, and employer partners.
